Taniyah Washington, LPC-Associate

I love working with teens and adults to tackle anxiety, depression, stress management,
and relationship challenges. I also have a deep understanding of trauma and a heart for
supporting parents through the ups and downs of parenting. Being a wife and mother of
two young adults and a nine-year-old, I have experienced the challenges that can arise
within those relationships while finding the balance between work, social, and personal
situations. Together, we’ll find solutions that fit your unique needs and help you cultivate
the care you deserve. My approach is client-centered and integrative, blending
evidence-based practices like Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy with a compassionate and holistic perspective.
I believe therapy is a collaborative journey, and I’m here to create a safe, supportive
space where you feel heard and understood. My goal is to empower you to gain
insights, build resilience, and make meaningful changes in your life.
When I’m not in the counseling room, you’ll find me expressing my creativity through
calligraphy and painting or enjoying quality time with my family. I’m always learning and
staying up-to-date with the latest research in mental health to better serve my clients.
