- Licensed Professional Counselor Associate – $100 – $120
- All Licensed Professional Counselor Associates are under the direct supervision of Kenyatta Black Jacobs, LPC-S. They hold a provisional License in the State of Texas.
- Practicum Student – $35 – $60
- Our practicum students are currently working on completing their master’s level education. All practicum students are under the direct supervision of Kenyatta Black Jacobs, LPC-S.

What is a sliding scale?
Sliding scale is where a provider will offer a lower rate for clients with financial limitations.
Why is it important?
Kenyatta Black Counseling offers a sliding scale because we are committed to ensure access for all.
How do I qualify?
Clients who have income that falls below the poverty line. To determine eligibility please see sliding scale table below. No client will be turned away based on their inability to pay. Sliding scale slots are limited but we will do our best to accommodate your family.
How do I verify my income to be eligible for the sliding scale?
Clients will be able to complete a sliding scale application and submit income verification which is a copy of:

- Previous year’s 1040 tax form
- Two months of pay stubs
- Two unemployment stubs
- Copy of social security or disability check
- Letter from your employer that states your salary or wage
- Profit loss statement (those that are self-employed)
What if I do not want to provide verification of income?
If a client does not want to provide verification of income, then the family will be disqualified from being eligible for the sliding scale. We are required to collect certain details for reporting purposes.
What if I can’t afford the full cash rate?
No one will be denied services due to inability to pay and there is a discounted/sliding scale fee scheduled based on family size and income.
