CORE VALUES

“At Kenyatta Black Counseling LLC we are commited to upholding five core values that guide our every interaction and therapeutic approach.

Leading with courage: We believe in fearlessly addressing the challenges that our clients face. Our counselors take the lead in exploring difficult emotions, traumas, and life transitions, providing a safe and supportive space for clients to confront and overcome their obstacles.

Empowering with knowledge: We recognize the significance of knowledge in fostering personal growth and healing. By offering evidence-based therapeutic techniques, psychoeducation, and valuable insights, we empower our clients with the tools they need to navigate life’s complexities and make informed decisions for their well-being.

Showing high regard: Respect, empathy, and non-judgment are at the core of our practice. We treat each client with utmost dignity, valuing their unique experiences and perspectives. Our counselors actively listen and seek to understand, creating a nurturing environment where clients feel heard, acknowledged, and valued.

Be kind: Kindness is the cornerstone of our interactions, both within the practice and with our clients. We cultivate a compassionate and caring atmosphere, providing genuine support and understanding to help individuals build self-compassion, resilience, and positive self-regard.

Just laugh: We believe in the therapeutic power of humor and joy. Laughter is essential to the healing process, and we embrace moments of lightheartedness, using humor as a way to relieve stress and connect with our clients authentically.

At Kenyatta Black Counseling, we strive to embody these core values in every aspect of our counseling services. Our mission is to foster growth, resilience, and well-being in our clients’ lives, promoting positive change and empowering them to lead fulfilling, meaningful, and emotionally healthy lives.”
